~this week~

devastating as the typhoon may be
i fought fear and depression
in finding comfort
in my relief of knowing that the ones i love were safe
and i am safe

and yet
worries continue to hunt me

were they safe?

and then there's that continuing nuisance of
the hated feeling of isolation
of not being able to connect to the digital virtual world
of being forcibly cooped up indoors

reasons for hating the rain
reasons for hating the dark clouds
reasons for hating the dashing winds

man!
how could some people love this season?
