I just finished watching a marathon episode of ANTM cycle 5
and i was so disappointed
my personal favorite Nik Pace didn't win
arghhh
i don't understand the judges
Nik was consistent all the way
great photos, sexy body, nice personality
The fact that she was a little jiggly on the runway doesn't justify her losing to Nicole
But don't get me wrong, Nicole is pretty and she does take nice photos and she really have a great personality but man! she has an attitude
and when you really take a good look at it Nik should have really won
arghhh bitterness
haayy why oh why didn't they chose Nik
anyway since im writing all my whining and ranting here
might as well take it all the way
hahaha
im going to write about my views on all the winners
hehehe
so cycle 1 winner was Adrianne Curry - i only watched the last two episodes of the first season but when I saw her I just knew she deserved to win, the transformation was so obvious and i really love her walk
cycle 2 winner Yoanna House - though i liked Shandi better and would have loved it if she won, I think the judges was right to picked Yoanna instead of Mercedes. Yoanna's really cool and I really love her photos
cycle 3 winner Eva - i don't remember her surname coz i didn't really watched cycle 3 mainly because I was in 4th yr then and i was busy with college entrance exams..hehe..and also because i don't like the contestants and the show coz there was too much drama, too much info and few great photos, and few enticing and exciting challenges. And man I don't really like Eva, her walk was too fast and strong and her photos were so intense they were almost scary.
cycle 4 winner Naima Mora- now this one is a real winner. Consistent all throughout the competition and as far as im concern she was really the winner from day one. Nobody in that season could really stand up as a hard competitor for Naima. She took great photos, pleasing personality, almost perfect walk, sexy body and the audience really love her. I so applaud the judges for choosing her. hehehe =)
as for cycle 5 winner Nicole = no comment
cycle 6 = i have yet to see if Danielle evans deserved to win

last friday i attended a debut

my parents actually permitted me to go
but of course only after much haggling and bargaining
and only after I have said the very dramatic magic words "para nyo naring sinabi na wag ako pumunta sa bday ni f*y o ni x*anxu" =(
hahaha
that got them
hehehe
it was actually the first time i attended a college friend's debut and one that was so far away for that matter
i got home at around 3 am and of course way past my curfew
and because of that i wasn't allowed to attend S*m's debut
which was so ironic really
because that debut was taking place at rockwell tent which was practically a 15 min ride from our house
duh?!
oh well
my parents' decision is final but i don't regret coming home late one bit
i had fun that night even if it was tiring
and quite uncomfortable
because all in all it was a good evening
why?
i met new people (even if not all of them was as nice as they should be..hehehe..im talking about mr.obnoxious-wasabi sniffing man)
toured Dian*e's mansion of a house (grabe it was like a resort tlg..srap magchck-in)
spent the evening rekindling ties with close college friends (even if i have to play the part of the optimist for most of the evening and even if there's just 3 of us there..hahaha..iwanan daw ba ko with 2 of the most pessimistic people that i know in the whole wide world)
feasted on good food (maki, pasta, and chocolate fondeau..need i say more?)
and most importantly learned a lot of SECRETS about the debutant (hahaha..i never knew she ************..oopss..secret!)

one thing that i didn't like about that evening though was the fact that i made a fool of myself when it was my turn to speak...i just blacked out..forgot all i wanted to say...it wasn't even my first time to talk in events such as this..i just consoled myself with the fact that nobody knew me there..

it was weird you know...
going to a college friend's debut for the first time...
because for the first time when i stepped into the pavilion
i wasn't surrounded by familiar faces
i wasn't greeted with an abundance of hugs
and i sat with complete strangers
to top it all of
my blockmates weren't there
im so glad i arrived with m*chelle because i wouldn't have known what to do without her accompanying me
it was really uncomfortable but as i have said earlier
it was worth it coz i have a good evening
hehehe

something to hold on to...

i just finished taking my LT2 in Fil 14
and man that was so stressful!
I can say that it was a little bit easier than the first one
but still it was hard
though i have definite topics to discuss and tackle in the exam
it was still hard organizing ideas and squeezing them all in a very
tight time-schedule
arghhh
i hope i did well
a 16/20 would be good enough
haayyy...
it was like taking an accounting test minus the numbers
the hassle was there, the organization of ideas was there, the input of facts was there
the time constraint was there
damn it was soooo hard!

i wouldn't be surprise if I get a C for a final grade because of those difficult LTs

all my efforts in the quizzes will go to waste

Minsan ninais kong lumipad. Nangarap na marating ang langit.
Sa aking batang pag-iisip inakala ko na maaari kong gawin lahat ng aking naisin.

At kahit gaano ko mang gustuhing abutin ang langit hindi ko ito mararating kung patuloy akong aasa na makalilipad ako.
Minsan ninais kong lumipad. Umaasang makukuha ko ang mga bituin.
Naniwala sa mga kasinungalingang sinasabi ng karamihan. Sabi nila kung ako'y makalilipad magiging abot-kamay na ang mga bituin.
Hindi pala. Nagpaloko lang pala ako.
Gaano man katayog ang aking liparin hindi ko makukuha ang mga bituin.
