last friday i attended a debut
where?
BULACAN!
hahaha
surprising noh
my parents actually permitted me to go
but of course only after much haggling and bargaining
and only after I have said the very dramatic magic words "para nyo naring sinabi na wag ako pumunta sa bday ni f*y o ni x*anxu" =(
hahaha
that got them
hehehe
it was actually the first time i attended a college friend's debut and one that was so far away for that matter
i got home at around 3 am and of course way past my curfew
and because of that i wasn't allowed to attend S*m's debut
which was so ironic really
because that debut was taking place at rockwell tent which was practically a 15 min ride from our house
duh?!
oh well
my parents' decision is final but i don't regret coming home late one bit
i had fun that night even if it was tiring
and quite uncomfortable
because all in all it was a good evening
why?
i met new people (even if not all of them was as nice as they should be..hehehe..im talking about mr.obnoxious-wasabi sniffing man)
toured Dian*e's mansion of a house (grabe it was like a resort tlg..srap magchck-in)
spent the evening rekindling ties with close college friends (even if i have to play the part of the optimist for most of the evening and even if there's just 3 of us there..hahaha..iwanan daw ba ko with 2 of the most pessimistic people that i know in the whole wide world)
feasted on good food (maki, pasta, and chocolate fondeau..need i say more?)
and most importantly learned a lot of SECRETS about the debutant (hahaha..i never knew she ************..oopss..secret!)

one thing that i didn't like about that evening though was the fact that i made a fool of myself when it was my turn to speak...i just blacked out..forgot all i wanted to say...it wasn't even my first time to talk in events such as this..i just consoled myself with the fact that nobody knew me there..

it was weird you know...
going to a college friend's debut for the first time...
because for the first time when i stepped into the pavilion
i wasn't surrounded by familiar faces
i wasn't greeted with an abundance of hugs
and i sat with complete strangers
to top it all of
my blockmates weren't there
im so glad i arrived with m*chelle because i wouldn't have known what to do without her accompanying me
it was really uncomfortable but as i have said earlier
it was worth it coz i have a good evening
hehehe
