45 things I miss in CSR:



1. Religious gatherings – syempre kasali diyan ang morning worships (assembly every Monday and Thursday), mass every first Friday and special occasions, rosary before mag-start ng class, novena every Wednesday and sa grade school, may novena every Monday, 1 o’clock prayer (sleeping time kumbaga for students), Angelus and 3 o’clock prayer. Isama na rin ang triduum for San Lorenzo Ruiz and St. Ezekiel Moreno.. And don’t forget ung celebration for St. Rose and St. Augustine, etc. Ganto lang un e, we were living like hell in a convent.. haha. Ah, how could I forget, may Mt. Carmel pa, thru Jesus, to mary.. adore, retreat, reco.. haay, lagpas langit pero may sungay parin ang mga estudyante..



2. Himno del CSR – eto, I’m really proud of our hymn even though I couldn’t understand a thing. It was in Spanish kasi.. (salve salve..chorva chenelyn,,) Nakagraduate nako, with loyalty award at lahat lahat, wala parin. I tried searching for its meaning.. but unfortunately, I couldn’t find any. Kahit di naiintindihan, students sing it with their hearts out. Proud to be a rosenan..! J



3. Si Clara, Mang Enteng, Marcos at iba pa – yan! Mga multo na nagbibigay kulay sa buhay ng estudyante. Sila ang panakot sa mga grade schoolers and new students (for some). Eto ang kwento, Clara was raped by a janitor named mang enteng.. sa may balcony daw ng audi.. (siya ung nakaputi na nakikita lagi dun, di yun madre noh, duh.) then, nakonsensya raw si mang enteng kaya nag-suicide dun sa last cubicle nung girl’s bathroom (beside the canteen).. siya ung nagpapakita sa may mirror pag mag-isa ka lang.. kaya one time daw, tinanggal ung mirror kasi students were terrified dw, un pala nilinis lang ung mirror (ibang klase na raw ung dumi e.) There was a rumor na may twin daw itong si clara.. malay! pakelam ko sa buhay nila. Si marcos naman ay ung nakalibing sa may likod ng playground.. nandun na un since nung time pa nung mga ate ko. It was their batch who made it daw.. im not quite sure if it’s still there.. hehe.. basta I still remember how terrified I was when I first saw that..kinder ako nun.



4. Chicken, chicken, at chicken pa – ang specialty ng aking beloved cafeteria. Fried chicken yan, pero para sakin, sinabawang manok. Pamatay kasi ang gravy, onti nalang tubig na.. anyway, di mawawala yan sa menu, and di ka matuturing na rosenan kung di ka nakatikim niyan.. Even though it looks disgusting, masarap yan.. parang chickenjoy. Or should I say, better than chickenjoy? Wala kayo, ginto yang manok na yan.. pero pag walang choice (lagi namang wala), mapipilitan kang kainin yan. Masarap yan lalo na pag may kasamang iced tea..



5. Ms. Jamison, Ms. DJ, Ms. Docta etc.. – sila ang natuturingan na may ari ng skul. Nuff said. Baka habulin ako dito ng mga loyal sa kanila..hehe. basta gets niyo na yan..



6. Yung nurse na tawag ay engineer – Nurse Alonzo ata un. Bata palang ako siya na ung nurse, but she resigned when I was in first year hs. She was one of the reasons why our principal was ousted. Ewan, di ko lam story. Anyway, I still couldn’t figure out why she was called engineer.. Ang natatandaan ko lang, pag may sakit ang estudyante, may sakit din siya.. (Me: Ate, masakit po ulo ko. Nurse: haay nako, ang sakit sakit din ng ulo ko. To myself: uhhh, so?). At pag masakit tiyan mo, ulo mo, puson mo, at iba pa.. expect mo na iisa lang ang ibibigay sayong gamot..



7. Alleluia – eto ung tambayan namin nung friends ko.. minsan we ate our lunch here na, kahit bawal.. hulaan niyo saan to. I got the name from Bea.. hehe.



8. EDSA – eto ung main stairway.. with orange tiles.. kaya edsa tawag diyan kasi laging traffic. Dami harang at sagabal na students.. epal sila. haha. weird.



9. C5 – eto ung white ung tiles.. kaya naman c5 tawag diyan kasi maraming nadidisgrasya.. hulaan niyo nalang kung sino ang best example..



10. 2nd and a half floor – eto ung pagakyat mo sa c5, you’ll see this floor. nandiyan ung typing room, e-learning and publication room. Wag kang gagala mag-isa diyan, maraming mumu..lalo na sa typing room, may nagta-type mag-isa.



11. Ung field and quadrangle – eto, masasabi ko na napakalaki nito. Swear.. not joking.. wag ka lang maglalakad sa may field kasi baka may matapakan kang masasamang elemento.. mababaho pa. hehe. Sa field masaya gawin ang PPFT.. and sa quadrangle naman, masaya diyan tuwing fair.. kasya ang mga rides.



12. Usapang Fair – the most awaited event. Andyan nagsismula ang away, dahil sa cheering. Pero masaya, kasi maraming rides, booths, play (corny to).. 3 days yan.. may times din na boring.. depende. Pero sobrang saya pag cheering na. Andiyan ang dayaan, murahan, iyakan, tulakan, batukan.. joke lang. Kasama rin diyan ung corny na kissmark, bodybind (kahit onti lang ung guys, lesbians are always available..), jailers and pag fourth year, sila ung in charge sa mic..huh? basta sa songs, sa lahat.. sila na rin ung nagkakasal sa mga nahuli ng bodybinders..



13. Usapang Intrams – the usual. Lam niyo na yan. By batch to. syempre, may major and minor games.. indoor.. outdoor.. Ah! May mga muse pa pala.. so un..



14. CSR socks – haha, bigla lang pumasok sa isip ko. Socks na may csr logo na hindi naman talaga logo, CSR ang nakaprint sa socks.. So anyway, dati nahihiya ako pag suot ko to, pero ngayon, namimiss ko. Sa gradeschool, pink ung font and sa hs, black na.. kainis din tong socks na to kasi manipis.. hehe. J



15. Speak for a star – Practice speaking in English.. tas may star na kayo ng class mo and if your class got the most number of stars, you’ll receive a certificate. Sa hs, walang pumapansin dito.. pero ang gradeschoolers, kinacareer to.



16. Mrs. G, Mrs, Ang-angco – fave teachers yan ng lahat. Si mrs g, pag nagkwento, di na napapansin ung time kaya masaya..wala ng lecture. Love ko rin si Mrs. Ang-angco, an epitome of a cool mother..



17. Island – yan ang sosyaling lugar sa csr. Andiyan ang mga mayayaman at spokening dollar na pre-schoolers. I love this place kasi mukang garden.. may gazebo pa.. paikot ung classrooms dito. And take note, amoy bata.. gets niyo na yun, im sure.



18. Isolated grade 4 classrooms – eto ung 3 classrooms sa gilid ng school.. di masyadong napapansin.. and I remember, maraming na-dengue dito. hehe. Buti nalang may aircon na, nung time ko wala, so alam niyo na ung nangyari. And eto pa, nung time ko, kelangan laging naka-close ung doors, kung hindi, may mga epal na aso* na kinakain ung folders and other stuff ng students. (*every night kasi diba pinapakawalan ung mga aso..*)



19. Family tree – literal na puno ah. ewan ko kung may nakakaalala pa nito, first year pako nun e. Anyway, bilib ako sa gumawa nito. Ang tiyaga kasi. Biruin mo, lahat ng id pic ng estudyante, kinorteng dahon.. tas gumawa ng puno. Tas ung pics ng teachers and sisters, ginawang flowers.. ganda talaga.. kaso for one year lang to.. sana di nalang tinanggal, para makita nung ibang batches kung gano kagaganda ang mga estudyante nung taon na un.



20. Ung painted walls sa may island – Eto ung una mong makikita pagpasok sa island. Eto ung connection sa may gym. Life size to. Sabi nila, kaya ginawa un, para di matakot ung little graders pumasok. Sabi ko naman, nakakatakot kaya ung paintings, anlaki ng mata ni Cinderella at ang pula ng lips ni sleeping beauty. At si Pinocchio, ang pangit. Tas may mga iba pang hayop na di kagandahan. Swear.. kung bata ka at makita mo to, sobrang matatakot ka. ang dark pa kasi walang ilaw dito lagi.. pero nakakamiss rin to..



21. Si manang - I knew her since I started studying in CSR. Meaning, matanda na siya.. hehe. joke. basta siya ung kulot na maintenance. And take note, kilala niya lahat ng pre-schoolers, pano ba naman, pag may di inaasahang pangyayari, siya ang naghuhugas.. gets niyo? One of the kindest people I know.. And pagpatak ng 4o’clock, lilinisin niya na ung bathroom sa tabi ng canteen.. kung gusto mo madulas, pumasok ka dun..



22. Ano ba talaga? Rosenan or Rosena? – nung grade one ako, rosenan yan, nung nag hs ako, naging rosena.. ewan ko ba, pero for me, rosenan! walang aangal. kanya kanya yan..



23. Scribble and Screeve – ang official newspapers ng school.. scribble for gradeschoolers and screeve naman for hs. Pati preschoolers, meron na rin ngayon, accdg to my sis.. I forgot what its called nga lang.. dati I love reading the articles, pero nung tumagal na, wala lang..wala ng kwenta puro kasi tribute nalang sa seniors.. pics nalang ung habol ko..baka kasi ano.. ano nga ba? secret..find out for yourself..



24. Merienda every Friday – ewan ko ba kung ano meron tuwing Friday kasi laging special ang merienda.. andyan ang maja blanca, turon, bananacue, biko, spaghetti at baked mac na hindi naman baked (isa lang ung sauce niyan, pinagkaiba lang ay ung noodles..pero masarap), at kung sosyalan ang gusto mo, andyan ang carbonara, pizza and mantou.. usually, wala yan sa menu..di ko lang alam bat tuwing Friday andaming masasarap na food..



25. Chits! – di ka pede bumili sa skul (mapacanteen or mapabookstore) kung hindi ka nagpapapalit ng chits. Di kasi tinatanggap ang totoong money. Dito highblood ang estudyante.. Kasi naman, talagang nakakainit ng ulo ung pagpila ng mahaba, marami pang singit.. kaya kung ako senyo, bago ka umuwi, magpapalit ka na or sa bookstore ka magpapalit kasi walang pila dun..onti lang.. J



26. Butch – lahat naman ata ng exclusive for girls na skul ay may so-called butch.. or ung mga babaeng pinili ay maging lalake.. sa madali’t sabi, tibo. Di yan mawawala, kahit minsan ung iba ay mahangin at feeling gwapo.. mga itsurang dugyutin kasama pa ang binasang buhok at nilagyan ng gel... pero may iba na gwapo talaga, ung tipong heartthrob, katulad ni ano.. ni sadako…hehe. you don’t get it.. yiku.. J ay! andyan din ang usapang on-on.. don’t want to elaborate on that.. yuck e..



27. Playground – eto ang sosyaling playground para sa sosyaling preschoolers. bawal ang mga highschool diyan, pero kung gusto mo maglaro, mag-over the bakod ka nalang, kaya naman e. Wag ka lang pahuli. Enjoy yan, may sand boxes, slides made of plastic..swing at meron ding malaking tic tac toe.. hard to explain.. hehe. And ang payo ko sa mga gusto maglaro diyan, wag masyadong humiga sa may sand boxes, kasi may nakita ako dati na lalaking preschooler na umihi dun.. yuck, kadiri..hehe.



28. Fountain – nagkalat yan sa skul, minsan mo lang makikitang gumagana yan. Kaso, di yan iniinuman ng mga estudyante, panghilamos kasi nila yan.. teachers lang ang umiinom diyan.. ewan ko ba, siguro maalat na ung lasa nung tubig dun..

but this time I had a valid reason
I had to study for my other class
so I stayed at Bo's
All day I heard nothing

my weird morning and my even weirder thoughts..

I woke up today at 5:30am
feeling tipsy
and still sleepy from the 3am
end-of-the-weekend
session I had with my sister
and cousins which was totally
impractical considering I have
class at 9am..
I went down for breakfast
and instead of seeing the usual
mom and dad tandem at the
table I saw my lola laying out
plates at the table instead and I guess
that was weird because I am not used
to waking up in the morning
not hearing the very loud voice
of my dad or the usual "ELIZABETH!"
call of my mom that serves as my alarm
in the morning..
then I tried to hail a cab in a place
that I wish I would never have
to go back to probably because
there were all sorts of people at that
place it was so confusing and not to
mention very disturbing..
then I rode a cab with a total stranger
and while dropping her off at her school
I unexpectedly saw an old friend,
if riding
a cab with a total stranger is not weird
I don't know what is..
and then I got practically freaked out by the
cab driver who asks the most personal
questions (are you still a virgin miss?)
and say the most maniac things

then when I got to class we did nothing
but discuss hostages (a pregnant woman who got
cheated on by her husband and a seemingly

taking) and executions
and some life values..
then I decided to cut class so I could
watch a corny love-story but nevertheless
entertaining movie with
Aga Muhlach and Anne Curtis as the lead stars
I know some of my friends wouldn't believe
that I actually watched that but I did
and what was weird about it is that I loved
watching it..(don't know why though,it must
be the love song or the crazy ringtones
of people who don't know how to put their
phones on silent mode when watching a movie..hahaha! ;p)
then after that
I rode the MRT and I noticed this guy
looking at me at first I thought that my
pants' zipper is down or that I had dirt
on my face so I checked both possibilities
and thank god I was wrong
my zipper was actually in place
and I don't have any dirt on my face
so what is this guy looking at?
just when I was about to give up discerning
what could be the possible reasons
for his obvious interest in me
he suddenly smiled and offered to pay for
my MRT ride
I declined of course and walked as fast
as I could and make sure he is not following
me..
then when I rode the jeepney I got lucky because
I got to sit across a very attractive and uberly
sexy man..
the moment he sat down and look at me
the world just seem to spin
I almost felt dizzy..hahaha
I know this is really weird
but I don't care this is my blog
I am free to write weird stuffs here
oh and please just pardon my "gushing"
I just had to blog about him..
I find him attractive not because he is
mestizo or chinito (which by the way is my
usual type)
on the contrary he is very tan
not negro tan or moreno tan
just you know the "healthy" tan
hes got these really strong looking arms
and possesses a muscular frame (not macho type though)
he is also sporting a semi-kal haircut
which I always find cute on guys
and man! he sure knows how to smile
and I am certain he can seduce
any girl he wants with that
deep baritone of a voice..OMG!!!
ultimate crushable..
and to top it all of he is probably
a year or two older than me..
anyway..
I took every opportunity to stare at
him when he is not looking (I know that was
rude but who cares I was just admiring a very fine work
of God, nothing is wrong with that right?..hahaha)
but then he caught me staring at him
and I was to embarrassed to look away
so I just challenged myself and
look at his eyes (and melted..hahaha)
and attempted to insert some sort
of defiance in my eyes and hope
to the heavens that my facade works
and luckily it did
because he just smiled and mouthed a
very sweet hello..i thought i was going to faint
right then and there..hahaha
then when I was about to pay
my jeepney fare he intercepted my hand (which
I think is a very cheeky way to flirt with me)
and said in that uberly sexy and seductively
deep voice of his "ako na"
which left me speechless for at least
a minute and when I finally "woke-up"
from my stunned disposition I remembered to say
thank you
normally I wouldn't allow a total stranger
to pay for me and even touch any part of my skin
much less "hold" my hand but nothing
in my day today is normal so I guess I made
a few exceptions for him and besides
he is so attractive
this might probably be my only chance to
flirt with a totally sexy guy like him...
I spent the rest of the ride smiling
and probably grinning like crazy
unfortunately for me I didn't get to
catch his name because I got off way too early
but at least he smiled at me
before I got off and when I looked back
he was looking me in that intense way
guys do when they want to say something
but they just can't...
argghhh..so cute..

so there, that was my weird day and my weird
thoughts..
I attribute this weirdness to my ever changing
emotional status which most of the time
gets me in trouble..
and the flirting attitude to the Aga Muhlach film
combined with raging hormones..
hahahaha...;p
don't worry this mode will pass
this is totally temporary
